🌟 Celebrating Heritage Through Craftsmanship! 🌟
We are proud to showcase this exquisite & iconic Iconic Stone Chariot @ Vittala Temple, Hampi, Karnataka. This wooden miniature has been meticulously handcrafted by our talented rural wood crafters from Karnataka.

Built in the 16th century, the chariot was commissioned by King Krishnadevaraya of the Vijayanagara Empire. He was inspired to build a similar structure after seeing the chariot of the Sun Temple in Konark, Odisha, during a battle campaign. It is a shrine dedicated to Garuda, the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. A tribute to the rich architectural legacy of the Vijayanagara Empire, this piece reflects traditional design and the skill of local artisans who keep our wood-crafting heritage alive.

At Tamaala, we believe in empowering rural craftsmen while bringing timeless stories to life through sustainable design( Handmade/Sustainable rural Livelihoods/ preservation of cultural heritage etc)
