This is the Ambavilas Palace, otherwise popularly known as the Mysore Palace. The second highest visited monument in India after the Taj Mahal, Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV and his mother Maharani Kempananjammanni Devi, commissioned the British architect Henry Irwin to build this magnificent monument.The palace & the exhibits inside are steeped in history and speak of the great kings of the Mysore region.  A section of the palace has been retained as the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. This is the smallest miniature model and comes in an acrylic box variant too.

Handmade by skilled craftspeople of the Mysore region. These craftspeople historically flourished under the royal patronage, and now a few of them continue working their craft.
