In this popular scene from the Epic Ramayana; this depicts the Shree Rama Pattabhishekha, this is after the successful completion of their 14 year long Vanavaasa; Rama returned to his paternal palace in Ayodhya. At the formal request of Bharata to take back the kingdom of Ayodhya, Rama accepted the offer and was crowned king in a grand ceremony.
Side note: Bharata never accepted kinship for himself, he saw through the deceit spun by his mother Kaikeyi and had placed the paduka of his elder cousin Brother Lord Rama on the throne.
