The Wooden Handmade piece is made by the artisans of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, also known as the ‘Sheesham wood village’. The origins of the wood skills of the Saharanpur woodcarvers dates to about 400 years in the Mughal period, craftsmen originating from Kashmir settled down in Saharanpur and took to this work.

The excellent handmade Sheesham wood-crafted piece makes for a unique gift.
