Rice straw painting is an art form that emerged in Kerala centuries ago.
The art requires making sculptures with various shades of rice straw.
The painting is made of rice straws that have been meticulously cut and glued onto a black cotton cloth.
Every ingredient used in the art form are found in nature, such as leaves, glue made from tree sap, paper and so on.
